Biography
Muhammad Amdad Hossain (b. 1999) is a Bangladesh-based documentary photographer, independent photojournalist and visual artist whose work focuses on climate change, environmental issues, water insecurity, displacement and human resilience. Through long-term, field-based storytelling, he documents the lives of vulnerable communities and the human impact of environmental and social challenges. His work has been published by 150+ international media outlets, exhibited in 50+ countries, and recognized with 200+ international photography awards. He is an AFP Grantee, Foundry Photojournalism Workshop and VII Academy alumnus, and works with international media agencies including ZUMA Press, JNA Press, NurPhoto and Amazing Aerial Agency.
