Muhammad Amdad Hossain

Biography

Muhammad Amdad Hossain is a 26-year-old award-winning freelance visual artist and documentary photographer from Chittagong, Bangladesh. His work captures the resilience and dignity of people affected by poverty, pollution, and climate change, particularly in the vulnerable communities of Bangladesh. Amdad’s imagery is deeply rooted in social justice, environmental storytelling, and visual empathy. His photography has been recognized worldwide, with over 200 international awards, features in more than 150 publications including The Guardian, CNN, BBC, and Forbes, and exhibitions in over 40 countries. He collaborates with global photo agencies and serves as a juror for major international photography contests.
